Pobrecito Mijo

Pobrecito Milo. Lying in the hammock he said, “Papa, I can’t wait till school ends. Then I can stay up to see the stars and hear the crickets.”

Just one more week, solamente una semana más, and he and Olivia will no longer have to wake up and go to sleep on New York time, two hours ahead of New Mexican Mountain Time.

Meanwhile, I’ll still be getting up before sunrise. That’s a good thing though. Means not only do I get to put the ladies in the hen house, but I get to finish work at 3 local time and that gives me a good three hours of daylight to build up a good sweat and truly feel like I’ve accomplished something real and meaningful.
